Silent Hunter has ALWAYS been a game that didn't stand on its own. Every Silent Hunter game I enjoy was only 'worthy' after the EXTREMELY Talented and Dedicated modders of this very community got their hands on it. Silent Hunter 3 is Garbage without GWX, and Silent Hunter 5 is garbage without Magnum Opus.

Its just a fact. The Silent Hunter 5 engine is BRILLANT but like any Silent Hunter game thats been pushed out and left without love you need to give it time to mature.. and grow. Now is about that time when Silent Hunter 5 is starting to look very adult. Playing Unmodded is just never the way Silent Hunter should be played.
