Space Shuttle Mission 2007:
I'm playing STS-1 via the demo until I get my Collectors Edition(what the boxed edition is called) sometime next week(10 dollars cheaper than the Digital Version, Thank you Amazon.).

I am T+1:00:00 in give or take, and I'm adjusting the shuttles Attitude to a 0 roll, 0 Yaw, and 0 Pitch. I get the Yaw, and Roll down, and I'm slowly working the Pitch to 0 from 200(going up past 360). 225... 240.. 24... *Black screen and all the lights on my computer go off.*

Shortly afterwords I realized my laptop vents were blocked by a sheet. And she overheated

I didn't save at any point. Luckily I can load from certain points, although I wont get the achievement. I'll have to replay the mission when I get my boxed edition anyways.

Edit: Skip ahead to the landing.

Coming in to land Columbia at night at Edwards Airforce Base.

It's a night landing and I have a beautiful view of the runway. Following the "ball" in and everything is perfect. Using the Numpad for control as I'm too lazy to whip out my joystick and deal with trying to calibrate it.

This is going to be a perfect landing. Until the stress(It's a pain in the ass to land a shuttle, I have a high failure rate. Hell, I have a high failure rate landing anything that doesn't land itself ) I forget that up and down are reversed and end up pushing the nose into the ground.

And thus STS-1 was an utter and complete failure, and NASA scrapped the whole plan.
