I've hit 300m without crushing before. Thankfully I pulled out of the dive before I went any deeper. I was at 180m and took a very close depth charge that caused major flooding. I was holding my breath as we passed 280m, and ecstatic when the boat finally started crawling toward the surface.

This was in a VIIC that had no damage before that attack. If I had been moderately damaged before that flood, I'm sure I would've been crushed.
