There is however something not mentioned yet which is very disturbing about this attack. I'd been saying for ages that it was only a matter of time before terrorists started targeting crowded airports - crowded in part, of course, thanks to the security lineups and other such measures. While it's happened before in Israel, this is the first time since 9/11 - and I really hope that right conclusions are drawn from this. |
Yes I concur, and I would not limit it to airports, think what a string of IEDs could do on the LA freeway when its jammed at rush hour, or the entrances to crowded down town office buildings at lunch time.
You have to think what are the soft targets.
