Reading it again...
The metric/yard setting can be swapped anytime, but of course first exit SH4.
Open
Documents\(sh4)\data\cfg\gameplaysettings.cfg and change last line to
MeasurementUnits=metric
However I'm unaware of how nomograph works in stock - hasn't really never played
that version...
Btw. if your laptop ctd when loading mods, you
really should examine what's causing this. Most probably reason is driver issues...
Have no idea of the periscope. Being a happy TMO customer and all that. There are some mods with alternatives though - do a search.
Perhaps you may find SCAF mod useful?
