Right what I am m issing in operation Atalanta. A lack of resolve with the poltiical doves at home. "Pirates also have legitimate interests", etc.

I don'T blame the military crews at location, but their political leadership.

Pirates löast yeasr again collected record ransoms and had hijacked more ships and people tha n ever before, also widening their operational area again. Their equopment and armamaent is also improving. Poltical reaction in Europer: none. Correction to the optimistically so-called "military mandate": the same - none.

I still vote for what I alraedy suggested two years ago: starting to systemtically bombard all land-based supply-points and hideouts and villages were pirates operate from or find hiding. Armed helicopters like "Little Birds" stationed on board of ships large eouigh to allow them landing. Armed forces with missiles and HMG boarding the ships during transit. The latter is done by some companies not trusting Atalanta.
