Moby Dick... one of the few books I've never managed to read more than half way through. It starts off quite well, indeed it can be quite engaging in parts, but then it goes all esoteric and rambling, like a john le carre spy novel; there's a lot of words and very little actual plot.
Perhaps I should apply myself more, but I just loose interest.
