i do believe they use Google translator mate.
Although I find that google translator (from my personal experience in German class) does use correct word to word translations it does not do literal translations so well, because in Deustche their wording becomes switched around.
For example, if in German say you said "I want to call you", because the ways the words are arranged and typed that phrase in in German and clicked translate it would come out something like "to telephone you I would like" but in German it means "I want to call you"
They might use a slightly better one however
