I use a wonderful mod from Athlonic called More Commands by Dialog. It adds a lot more commands to the various officers in the boat. I can tell the radioman to put on the phonograph.
For the radio, I use another mod, the name of which I cannot remember exactly (I'm at work right now). It's something like Grosserdeutscherrundfunk or something like that. It is a large collection of vintage radio and news broadcasts in German and it assigns a keyboard key to bring up the radio controls.
