Well, it depends on where I am, if there is any land nearby or any ships it is totally terrible, I have 1-4 FPS at 8120...

Besides that... you'll miss a lot of stuff when using these high time compresisions. I think the engine shut things down the more it struggles to keep up and many contacts the system simply can't respond to, when your raceboat passes it with 200000 km/hour.... and you'll probably sometimes find yourself dead without knowing what hit you... or what you hit...
If you find patrolling "boring", there are loads of very cool single missions and single patrols out there. Highly recommended!
