Me too once. It happened to me for some time that I hated FPS with a passion until games as the like of Flashpoint Dragon Rising and ArmA 2 came out. I'm still picky about FPS games and that I don't buy Black Ops or the likes because I consider them not to be my type of fps game. In fact I'm becoming very very picky about which any game to buy and play. Partly because I get more matured with respect to my gaming taste and partly because I found board gaming to be much more enjoyable and useful and social.
So picky that many times I only decide to buy a certain game a year after it was released because I've only convinced myself that it was worth buying then and found myself unable to find the game(genuine) any longer hence missing it out altogether
