You forgot to mention that mnemonic you figured out:
Ho-Mo-To-Wo, or
Ho More To-w(o)ard. It's very catchy, I'll never forget. It has gotten stuck in my head, only being surpased by saying "Jawohl, Herr Kaleun!" to myself all the time ... for no appearant reason.
