No, speed of torps does not matter.
The TDC knows how fast a torp will travel.
With fast the LEAD angle (shown on gyroscope) is
smaller. (fire less in front of target)
With slow torps the LEAD is
larger. (fire more in front of target)
If you switch the torp speed from slow to fast - you can see the LEAD angle adjust on the gyroangle.
