There is a small but however fine difference between BiA and SH3.
BiA was developed by Gearbox Software and Ubisoft is only the publisher of BiA. Silent Hunter 3 was developed and puplished by Ubisoft itself.
Gearbox as an independent company has decided very early to make parts of their development tools and -code available to the community in form of a SDK. In comparison Ubisoft for their own-developed products like SH3, Chessmaster X and others, evenly not. |
