Ahoy Sub Drivers,
After some time with Grey Wolves I have returned to and been enjoying SH4 1.5 after trying and giving SH5 a good punt, but finding it not as fun as the previous incarnations. In SH4 I have installed the superb 'Trigger-Maru 2 overhauled' and have been re-reading the comprehensive manual and now have a question that hopefully might enlighten me and improve my experience.
Once before in the distant past, way over the horizon, I enjoyed starting with a new build boat and the working up sea patrols. The experience of an XO moving to his own command added to the overall enjoyment.
The TM 2.0 discusses the patrol regime and indeed states that you can select a new build boat, where you report to Mare Island. The trouble is I can find no such selection in the Campaign menu.
Please would one of you 'Salty old Sea Dogs'
point me in the right direction, so that I might once again get the pleasure of a brand new boat?
