Seems like it should work if you just reinstall the game to some dummy folder somewhere instead of the usual default location - that way you'll have all the stock files that you can paste into your "real" installation whenever you want and you will in essence have the backup you wish you had made in the first place - and it will probably be faster than trying to download somebody's file from the net somewhere |

I have a "clean install data folder" so if somethings go wrong I can just use the stock files.
