It's one big PITA. Never tried diving and resurfacing as Steve suggests

In SH3, all I would do is drag the guys inside, then back out again. That would fix it. This dosn't work in SH4. As the screenies show, the weather report shows "no precip". That's the problem. The game thinks, the rain has stopped, so the guys don't need the raingear. The other thing that always irked me, as someone mentioned, is the fact that unlike SH3, the sailors in SH4 will not don the foul weather gear unless it is a full blown rain event. The heaviest of seas don't matter. I guess they like getting wet. I always wondered if this was an oversight of the Devs, or dose it have to do with the obvious design differences between Fleetboats and German U boats. Could it be the bridges of Fleetboats stayed more dry than those of the U boats?
