First, congrats on using manual targeting so early. It's a big step and a skill I am still struggling to master.

If you are playing stock, I would keep patrolling the area another month and see if the weather clears, then head home if it does not (west of Ireland.... then between Hebrides and Scotland if you get a chance to move your torps, otherwise over the top). BF14 16 17 are such a great buffet for tankers that it's a shame to leave early.

If you are in GWX, I would sail for the Corrientes, restock there. Then either enjoy "west of Gibraltar" or go back to "Tanker Alley" or both.

For realism (and I am not an expert on this), I flip coins or roll dice. I set the odds at about 70% chance that I am ordered home. If I get the good dice, the boys are looking at 80-90 day breaks from the vices of Wil'haven.
