Ah yes, public transportation. Where I live the buses don't run after 2200 hours, and don't start until 0600 hours, so anyone who works a swing or graveyard shift either has to have a car or can't keep the job.
Where I live the buses used to not run at all on Sundays. Now they do - once every hour. Fine in summer, not so much when it's snowing.
Where I live the nearest market is several miles away. Since I don't have a car I have to make several trips, on the bus, instead of just one.
Any more sage advice on the wonders of government spending?
