I hate Islam.

Yep. It is a backwards set of ideas that preaches misogyny, bronze-age science, everything I hate. I like some Muslims, but I hate their set of beliefs. I hate other sets of beliefs, too. Nazism, Communism, any literalist religious faith. There is no difference, they are voluntarily held sets of beliefs, and deserve to be liked, disliked, loved, or hated based on their merits. Literalist religion has no positive merits, or none that outweigh the negatives.

That out of the way, this is a non-story. What % of all the given names to boys in the UK is a variant of Muhammad? 1%? The sad reality is that Muslims are not very inventive in naming, and a large % of boys are named Muhammad (or some spelling variant).

If every Mexican in the US named his kid "Juan," Juan would WTF Pwn all other US boy names.

Heck, if all the jews in the US used "Ari" or something (not, Joel, please, that's my son's name ), they'd own the #1 boy name spot.

Doesn't take much when a given minority uses the same name like 80% of the time or more.

Nothing to see, move along...

(though I suppose it shows a lack of desire to integrate on their part, else they'd be naming their kids "John" etc)
