Got to love Formosa, all those ASW carriers with the convoys trying to dump charges on you.

Escort passed 1200 yards in front of you without seeing you.....thats pretty good.

I wish we had more medium fog that really effected visuals. I read Duc changed the fog some in the beta patch, but just started with it. Also be nice if fog was more random, patchy fog.

I've looked all over for moon values, lighting, ect...to see how the moon light works, but not seeing much. Just seems like a fixed value for each phase, but can't find anything to do with angle in the sky, so not sure if it makes a difference if the moon is high in the sky or behind your sub lighting you up, course I stay away from it, but would be nice to know.

I would love to see adjustments to minheight values, moon, night visuals so we could make reaosnable surface attacks.

Yea, I was holding my breath with my finger on the dive button , kept left rudder one with just enough RPMs to keep my bow pointed at him so had a minimal profile, so he didnt see me, he was hauling tail to to get back, it was a tense moment, seas were heavy with light fog(according to the weather report), that was no doubt the difference. The moon itself was not visible in sky due to some clouds but could tell it was out, phosphoresence was pretty bad.

Them spotting my torpedos killed me, prob wouldnt have happened in RL under those conditions, drove me nuts, wasting six fish man.I went to sea with 16 Mark 14 and 8 Mark 18, 18's in stern tubes. Trying to save enough fish to hit the Battleship Division that will be in the straits on November 21(assuming since RSRD follows history, Sealion II under Reich encountered Kongo, Nagato, Yamato, Agano and some DD's in the straits around 0200 on 21 Nov 44, sank the Kongo.)

Ah well, will continute tomorrow and see if can bag a couple ships from the convoy.
