I know what you're saying, Firewall, but i may have misdescribed what I'm looking for; I seem to recall a visible shock (or blast) wave that emanated from the ship exploding almost like a ripple caused by throwing something in the water, albeit on a much, much larger scale. I remember seeing the effect when tankers would explode in SH2. I have GWX installed but have not seen this effect.
