Thanks to Sansal's tool the gates have been thrown open to us. I wish now that I had some education in 3D modelling and/or hex-editing so I could fix this for you all.

The Type VIIC was the U-Boat workhorse in the battle of the Atlantic and is probably ours as well. I imagine most of you prefer it to other types for the sake of posterity if nothing else.

I think we have until now decided to turn a blind eye to a rotten graphical error that the devs either didn't notice or were too rushed to fix.

Theoretically I hope believe that correcting the file responsible would be a rather quick fix for any of our awesome 3D modellers. A master file could be made and that would be that.

Here is the problem:

I don't believe any painting or reflective work needs to be done, only a slight re-position of the cables to meet their supports.

In return, will offer the one thing I know how to do and will make it available to the awesome person that will fix this error for all of us.

I will build a historic crew file for you from the U-boat of your choosing. RUb, IUb, or stock... your choice. Or I can build you a custom crew. Whatever you choose it will be completed by me within 48 hours after notification of fixing the cable problem.

This isn't meant to be a bribe... I would think you guys (3D modellers) are probably getting requests from all angles... and have already given us so much. I just want to repay where I can, and SHOW you thanks instead of just taking from you. Its not much, but is where I can serve a purpose here.

I hope I'm not the only one who cares about this.

Thanks for all you do.

PS: Sorry for the funny looking links... Imageshack is still kind of hit-and-miss for me.
