Sounds about right.
In theory it should be "ka" as in the German word
Kapitän but that doesn't help much if you're unfamiliar with German to begin with.

Das Boot with the original German dialogue, you will hear "Herr Kaleun" so much you'll have it down in no time.
Or, um, just select German voices in your game? Your crew will say "Jawohl, Herr Kaleun" every time you give an order. Unless you've modded that out.
Alternately you could look in your game folder for the speech files and find the right one and just play it over and over.
