I think they should have thought about hybrid ships like the Danish
Absalon class before they built those new LPDs of theirs. Our new LPDs were going to be like the Danie's in terms of capabilities but the builders went so over budget that it was scaled back.
Like us the RN needs a modular LCS style ship... but one that works!
