I'm not just flying off the handle here assuming that my world is the whole world when it comes to Favre. A couple of friends I have in Minnesota think that if they lose this Sunday against Dallas, that'll be when Favre's tendonitis injury becomes "too much" for him to continue playing, and the looming threat of a suspension possibly ending his starting streak may move him in that direction.
Besides, plenty of teams pay good money for pariahs (like Vick, Owens, etc.) Barry Bonds comes to mind.
Don't get me wrong, though - I still like what Favre did for the Packers and football. I even have framed posters of the guy hanging in my "man cave". I just think the guy has tarnished his legacy beyond repair at this point.
