After I posted it occurred to me that I vaguely remembered seeing a pic that looked like the log from inside the game with ship names on it, and that I had never asked about it at the time. I guess it just didn't register then.
But, you know, we're talking about someone who played many hours of SH3 before realizing there was a screen where she could change the settings on her torpedoes before firing.
