I'm
guessing it would. SH4 uses DDS files instead of targa. They are much smaller then targa files, therego should be using less memory. Campaign wise, it only loads the data it needs to . Where as Sh3 loads the entire thing for the entire war each time you start a game. So loading times are much faster in Sh4.
Ram i suspect won't be the issue so much as CPU or GPU performance.
