the next contact was very near the english coast in Shallow water (25mtr's ulp)
Yet another C2 Cargo was fired upon and the Topredo just bounced off the side of her nice 90' shot from approx 450 mtr's so i fired again this time it hit and she started to slow down then "we've been detected" again ah no not again i looked around another flower class corvette where did he come from I had 1 tube loaded only and 2 external reserves left "yer right i'm going to surface and load those not" so it became a cat and mouse chase in and out of the convoy trying to shake him . eventually i got fed up and decidedto surface.
Mad idea i know as U31 started to rise the 1st shell hit i managed to get my gun crew on deck and almst imdeiattley another shell hit us again
then we replied the 1st shell caught the corvette on the bridge as my gun was re-loading no return fire so we fired again then the corvette hit us again U31 was sailing so well and we steered ourselves behind the corvette so she couldn't use her forward armanant on us 5 more shells and she finally belw up.
then using the deck gun we sank
