Just like I can look at some random guy and find him unattractive and wonder why he's walking around like he thinks he is... some other woman may very well agree with him. So should his level of confidence be based on her opinion, or mine? Well, it's probably based on his own opinion, and on what he knows or assumes about the opinion of whatever person he's actually trying to attract, if he's even trying to attract one. And not everybody dresses the way they do to be attractive to anyone in particular. If he's dressing to please himself, and not to attract me or her or anyone else, then our opinions are relevant only to us.

Now if he's actively trying to attract me and failing miserably and doesn't seem to understand that regardless of how obvious I make it, that's another story.

Eh, I just get tired of all the body-shaming that we do to each other on the assumption that the person whose appearance we don't like is trying to please us in the first place. Saying that someone is overconfident about how attractive they look to us assumes that they're trying to attract us in the first place, and that their level of confidence is or should be based on how good a job they're doing of something we only assume they care about.
I'm confused... but i bet it was meant that way, your rabbling on like a blabber mouth laughing hah! This will have em scratching their heads!

Retreating back to my cave.
