Now that you mention, I have noticed slightly worse weather overall since switching to TMO. However, not exceptionally so. Further, I've found it to be both a blessing and a curse. While rough weather makes getting a good targeting solution quite difficult, it also allows you to get away with a lot. And against a big convoy with escorts, this can be a good thing.
