Lots of games are doing it ,LOTRO's just done it ,Everquest 2 is about to do the same - it's a way to get new people in to check out your games but I'd rather just pay the sub and get all the goodies anyway ,save the hassle with having to buy this and that addon (doesn't bother me with LOTRO though ,I've been a lifer since it started over 3 years ago and get all the goodies plus extras
