I have a theory as well... A single B-29 is more powerful than the entire Japanese Empire...

Edit: the Germans would just wait till those crappy Japanese HMG reach the end of their belts (about five seconds in to the battle) and then hosed them down with MG-42s for the next five minutes (at which point the Germans would have to reload)
