This would be true...if the game took the possibilty of raising the ship again into consideration.Which it does not as far as I know.
The problem is the ships in the game once they have any part of them hit the bottom in shallower waters have a bad habit of getting stuck in that positin and wont budge anymore no matter what you do to them.
Like in Hartlepool once..I snuck in and hit the Tanker that is docked there in the rear..It went down by the rear but hit bottom and sat there a 1/4 way under water and not moving and simply stuck there..and nothing else I did would send that ship down..And again I got nothing for the effort.
