Started a new game today in a bit more organised fashion.
Base
Inside of the "lobby", haven't been arsed to add anything to it yet.
Main shaft leading down to Base level 1 mining area.
Before entering the mining hall itself, I have two rooms, other being the "Equipment Storage & Maintenance", housing two furnaces, workbench and 4 large chests to stockpile mining equipment.
And the one opposite to "ES&M", is the "Ore Storage", housing 6 large chests to stockpile the mining waste for future use.
Base level 1 mining hall, finished mining shaft A to the point where I broke into an cavern with looots of nasty noises so I sealed it and going to start shaft B to the left of shaft A.
EDIT: Ow and the "Mother Nature" sure has sense of humor in this one, it had made Oberon's ArmA face to one of the mountains.
Needless to say, one of my goals is to get some TNT and go blow that monocle out of his bloody face.
