I also have the Revell kit and am at the pre-assembly stage: I am using a Dremel on the reverse side of the component (at low speed using a round and onion-shaped tools to open the flooding holes and finishing off with diamond files. Time consuming but worth it. I am considering a working r/c conversion of the sub if I can create a workable watertight cylinder to contain the electrical/electronic components. A similar solution to that used in the 1/40 scale r/c VIIIB but on a smaller scale (excuse the pun.... :rotfl: ) Early days but there are some superb miniature servos and so forth..
