In case you hadn't heard of it, the Commonwealth War Graves Commission has a great site at www.cwgc.org which has a huge database of commonwealth casualties in WWI and WWII. I used it recently to locate my great-grandfather's grave marker ( Pvt Robert Ross, he was killed in 1915 at Loos) so that my mother could visit it while on a trip over there.
