It's very easy to drop the hammer on this guy, and if it comes out that he's deserving of it then by all means drop every hammer you can find, but do we even know why he dropped out? Is there any more information on this story anywhere? The man might've died for all we know from Schroeder's post
How many times have you had to drop out of something you agreed to do because of unforeseen circumstances? Granted it was probably never something this major, but we just don't know his circumstances. (As far as I can tell)
