I agree with this. Some time ago I used XXI in sh3 from 1939 as a SSN sub with max undrwater speed of 42Kt. Max torp. launch depth for this toy was set up for 350m
. If he like to play for fun, this is his choice, nothing more.
But XXI equiped with reactor should have underwater speed close to the Skate class = about 18-19Kt.
