I have to agree with that. I'm not a person with a lot of appreciation for music, but Klepacki's work in the C&C franchise just fits really well with the games. Aside from that, the battle themes for CnC Generals were pretty good, too. I particularly like "USA Battle Theme 1"
and "China Battle Theme 1"
I don't know Klepacki had anything to do with those, but I thought they were pretty good.

Shogun Total War has a great OST
[/QUOTE]
I never played Shogun but I think some of the battle soundtracks from Medieval and Empire games are great, so it wouldn't surprise me if Shogun was good too. I feel the same way about Homeworld. The battle soundtracks were great but sitting through forty minutes of the "nothing is going on" soundtracks while you mine resources after you've killed everyone but before you make a jump were just punishing. I think an industrial-sounding track would have been more interesting. I mean, the music wasn't bad for the setting, but when it was combined with the extremely tedious wait for resource vessels to make their trips and the repeat of the same track, it got really boring. Thank God for the "quick harvest" option in Homeworld 2.

I loved the music from HOI II. The track "War" was particularly awesome when it happened to synch up with a major offensive:
