Since when has Iran supported the Taliban? They don't like each other.

But I bet it would be in the best interest of the Taliban if they made people think Iran was involved.

And it would be in the best interest of the United States if people thought Iran was involved with the Taliban.

So the question we should be asking is: Who benefits from this "news"?
