Thanks for quick replay .

I removed the install path : " C:\Games\ubisoft\silenthunterIII "
And when I do a re-install I nstall like above .
But right this minute I do a new re-install to : " C:\ubisoft\silenthunterIII "
I don't know if that makes a difference , I don't think so

I also removed the win9 codecs , because JCones wrote that he did in the " Win7 " thread . So I now want to see what 's happening
