I don't think the North Korean army has much of a chance to force a breakthrough of the DMZ; even if it did, it would have no chance of supplying exploiting forces.

I agree but I wpuldn't want to see it put to the test.
A lot of damage can be caused before the reality of failure is noted/realised.
