I want you to remember this the next time you consider the state to be a viable solution to anything. Remember
who is in politics and

what they do and
how they got there. Then I want you to go vote and remember the word "Libertarian".
Seriously, you can't expect much else from the major parties. Wishing for a candidate to vote
for amongst them is like wishing for the Blue King to show up in a game of chess. The rules are in place, the battleground is stratified, and the two-party system has ensured that all fans are rooting for black or white, whatever they may think of the pieces themselves. Candidates, especially presidential ones, are not chosen to suit your personal taste or even on the basis of competency, they're chosen on the basis of who is likely to get the most votes. That's what happens when you play their stupid f-ing game.
My vote, as in every election, goes towards the side most dedicated to taking away the "power" in "power struggle", thereby restoring some semblance of statesmanship and order to the Federal Government.
