what makes USA great is that people could talk these kind of things without fear of intimidation, job loss, defamation libels, attacks by state sanctioned cyber bullies or outright assassination

I know what I'm going to say next may not be popular but give the man a break, he's only been in office what? I'm sure he's doing his best though he's being perceived as being a bit on the left side has gained the man some contempt with many Americans.
If I were the President of a country I would not care about how popular I'm going to be on this or that policy because I'm just going to do what I think and believe the best for the state and society in general.
Sometimes popular policy doesn't mean it's the right one.
Of course in democratic society that could cost me the next election but hey at least I did what I thought best whether some people like it or not. If it were me. Screw image when you're on a mission that you believe in.
