OMFG that is amazing, this just reinforces how great this game is 5 years after its release. Aside from its normal play, you have the S-Boat mod and now a surface warship mod. All that's missing is being able to pilot a FW190 or ME 262 and have a 100% immersion naval mod capable of (real) multiplayer action where you could have a complete battle using all naval ships/planes against each other (assuming someone makes models for the Allied ships). Even though the carrier in wwii made the battleship obsolete (not so much in the Atlantic but was enormous in the Pacific) its still fun to imagine what a wwii replay of Jutland would have looked like with just capital ships dooking it out.
Seeing this is dangerous temptation, makes me want to install it and try it; but still want to complete my current career and goal of making it all the way to the end of the war before trying anything new.
