Clean install, as I had reinstalled OS (as a total system clean up to factory/shipping state) so no registry fragments or files to worry about
I have already uninstalled SH3, but fairly sure 'player' was still there; does 'player' affect saves?
Perhaps I will reinstall and give SH£ a last chance, what are the registry remnants that should be deleted (regedit) before a reinstall?
