Oh yeah. In fact, they even had Drew Brees as their quarterback for awhile. But then they decided Phillip Rivers was better and let Brees go. This is the same Rivers they traded Eli Manning away for. That's two eventual Super Bowl winning QB's they had but let go. Hiring the mentally handicapped is a nice thing to do, but this shows why you should never put them in positions of authority.
But I shouldn't be too hard on S.D. After all, as a Saints fan, we came out real good on that Brees deal.
