The thing about 1939 is how easy to get targets in unescorted convoys. After hours of boring patrols I came across a large convoy of merchants on the East Coast of England sailing ahead of me at an angle of 30 degrees. I sent 3 torps and one hit a ship which slowly sank. I surfaced and used my deck gun to kill four more. I sank the last two with torps at close range. Missed a lot with the torps, though.
An enemy plane was sighted and didn't attack...hmmm, wonder why? What I learned from all this is that in SH5 the enemy is not planes, ships or Bratspulver (or whatever they called it)..it's the FOG!
