I don't know at this point in time about editing existing GR2 files.
New gr2's can be created with the proper tools.
If one were to build the 3D file structures,
maybe on of the Dev's could do the export to gr2.
Dats can be built with the exported models.
So there may be away to merge the two for SH5.
I can not run SH5 so I can't test ALL my thoughts.
